As paralegal or lawyer, your main focus is to help the lawyer have legal work and responsibility. It is almost time to work on important documents and examples. This often involves work on computers, work with clients interviewing, and performing secretarial work. Depending on the country you live in, the mission of paralegal is different. If you work in the US, you can not provide any kind of specialized legal services. When you become Paralegal of Canada, you are at about the same level as a lawyer.
In Canada paralegals are very similar to lawyers. If you are a paralegal of Canada, you can give legal advice at the lower courts. Paralegal is a trained expert like a lawyer and has not attended school as a lawyer for years. Paralegal needs to know the law and procedures in order to do the work. Paralegal (lawyer) may work at a law office in some cases. They will work as a freelancer at other times. Lawyers supervise the work of paralegals and everything they are doing. Paralegals must attend school and take work, but the paralegal course is easier than taking a class and becoming a lawyer.
In most cases, paralegal is in charge of preparing documents for the trial case. Responsibilities and documents will vary depending on what you are working on. Some of the basic duties are investigation, divorce, property, bankruptcy, dividend deposit, and meridional movement. These are just some of the duties expected as a paralegal or legal assistant. Previously paralegal was the assistant of that layer and I was able to do some legal advice. Now, only lawyers can give legal advice. The lawyer still works with lawyers, but it is much closer under a careful perspective of lawyers.
Depending on the country or country you are licensed, the type of work you can do is decided. In the UK you can do legal work despite being not a lawyer.
