Private insurance companies are taking seriously about eradicating our fraud cases and fake cases recently. Things have become uncontrollable in the 80's and 90's. We had bankrupted small and medium enterprises that could not handle premium cost. Many employees wrote the letter when the economy was hit, bombarded at all levels of business moms and pop, enterprises, asking for a written pink slip and claiming a life boat
Indeed, good for them, but very bad for the system, quite unfair for others. The claim of disability did not truly dominate not only in the private sector but also in the public sector. Things are terrible, I now know that many people can not get back to work due to obstacles. Because they do not have employment, they are milking their impersonation disorder until they reach at least 60 years of age, so they can receive social security. Essentially, they retired a little earlier to let us all fulfill the bill. Yes, that's bad, perhaps bad. Go to the usual Starbucks, see the person sitting there, and speak to them. Do they really feel disabled to you, they say so, but I have not bought it.
There was an interesting article in the Wall Street Journal on 22 August 2013. Damian Paletta's "Arrests for Physically Disabled Fraud Incidents" described charges of 75 FBI arrested and was indicted for the social security fraud conviction. Suitably, this was one of the biggest cases since the 1950s. In other words, it does not seem to be somewhere near the monitoring level required at the present time.
It is clear that we are not attacking this sturdy problem we need. And yes, it is good to see this recent behavior, but please remember that Puerto Rico is that area and social welfare country. We have many challenges in all 50 states. We allowed you to make this uncontrollable. We have a lot of people. Others feel their invitation to do the same thing. Although I have talked over and over for years, I do not know how many people are fraudulent in the system, but the time has come to stop this problem with busy numbers. Please consider all of this.
