Meet Joe Black is an all-star cast such as Brad Pitt, Anthony Hopkins, Claire Forlani, the movie about the value of death and life. The movie is about 3 hours and 15 minutes, sometimes pretty slow, but there is an excellent plot. Shooting takes place at a big corporate hub in New York City, and Anthony Hopkins is playing a character called Bill Parish, a media company's $ 1 billion CEO.
The story begins at Bill Parrish's gorgeous New York City apartment, awaking at night and learning chest and arms pain. He goes to the toilet, pours water on the surface of the water and hears the voice simply saying "yes" while wondering what is going on. Mr. Bill does not recognize that he may be suffering from heart problems and continues his daily life as chairman of the Board of Directors of his news company.
Next, I see two girls' daughters appearing in the pictures. She drops in for breakfast before leaving for a hospital, a physician. Another daughter of Bill, Alison does not seem to have a job, but he is busy planning a building's 60th birthday party for the property of the building. She is planning an extraordinary party such as a flame archer, a large ensemble, a famous vocalist, any type of politician. Bill revealed that he can not care less about the party and Alison got angry about his lack of interest several times in the movie.
In Susan's way of doing business, she stops at a coffee shop near the hospital and hits an unnamed young man played by Brad Pitt. Young people start talking with Susan after he becomes new in town, and share coffee together to communicate feelings of each other. They regret and do not get contact information of each other. While the young man is crossing the busy intersection, he turns around thinking about Susan and is killed when stuck with two cars. This part of the movie is very well done and surely surprises the audience.
Meanwhile, Bill plans to sell his company to major media. He is uncomfortable with the idea of selling life's job to those who are unintelligent, making him more uncomfortable when he understands his death. While he is in his office the next day his voice drops him to his knees and tightens his chest while sweating. Voice, "Yes" he heard is the answer to Bill 's question, "Is I dying?
That same evening, Susan's boyfriend Drew Meeting for dinner at Bill Parrish, his two daughters, Allison's husband Quince, and Bill's house. Drew is the man on the right hand of Bill, Drew is believed to take over Parrish Communications if Bill takes one day. The building's maid takes the man behind the voice to the building's house and makes it fill the building in the building. His library. This part of the movie is full of tension and awkwardness, the viewer is aware that Bill Parrish is more powerful and has the ultimate power to dominate his life.
Parrish speaks towards the voice behind the bookshelf in his big library and the voice quietly tells him and hears what he says. Sometimes, the voice reveals that Susan is a young man she liked from a coffee shop but has quite different personality. It is not completely clear at the moment, but in order to enter Bill Parrish's life, "death" is taking over the body of a youth in a coffee shop. Parrish actually has a heart problem and is supposed to die in the near future. And "death" can take a young man's body and learn from people who live life to its fullest. "Death" desires to take a break from helping people die and see what the best living human life is.
Bill Parrish asked what to do about "death" in his life and said that young people stay at Bill 's house, have dinner with their families, go to work with him everyday. Basically, he wants to do all that Bill does so that exceptional human life can be seen. As the young man is overwhelmed by the man he brings food, it is obvious to dinner that the Parish family does not understand what he is doing, as he can not understand how he lives. . Bill must introduce a young nameless man to his family and the name of Joe Black, the fitting name for "Death", will appear.
When Susan came for dinner and realized that the young coffee shop's man returned to her life she was blown away and her boyfriend Drew was also blown away. Joe Black understands that he knew the youth of a dead cafe and that he is not the same as the one she employed. She is frustrated and I do not know why he is behaving differently, but Joe is thinking of real identity. Drew is commenting that Susan and Joe see each other and do not like how to separate Susan's relationship. Joe says to Susan that Drew does not like talking to her in a disrespectful way and the two kiss in the entrance room of the building.
At this point, Bill understands that Susan is falling for Joe Black and Joe gives her daughter that she does not think anyone. Although Susan seems not to care about listening, she falls in love with Joe near the building's indoor pool in a few days. Bill not only has great concern that her daughter will fall in love with death, but now he is pulling the willingness to sell his company. He tells Joe and the board of directors on his side that his company is not for sale. Parrish has not stated any specific reason for his decision and will not be released for discussion. Drew is very suspicious of Joe at this point, and Joe and Drew are starting an unpleasant relationship with each other. Drew does not know that Joe is the omniscient, nor does it match Joe's temperament and all the knowledge of the world.
Drew makes Bill Parrish and his dependence on Joe too dubious for him to hold a secret meeting with the board. Allison's husband aboard the board, Quince also reveals that Bill leaves many decisions in his decision. Knowing that Bill knows that Bill makes decisions for him, the board votes to give an amazing amount of Bill to retire after his 60th birthday party. Bill has no choice in this issue, it is troubling the conference room and is completely sad.
The story focuses on Bill's luxurious birthday party. All of his nearest friends are in the tuxedo, gowns and spirits are very high. But Bill has a discussion with Joe and now he knows that his life will end after the party. The argument was about Joe falling in love with Susan. Bill is a terrible attempt at Joe being a man and Joe keeps Susan out of the dark. Bill, if Joe has a heart and is actually a decent man, Joe goes to Susan, seeing who she really is and seeing what she is thinking. Joe leaves the office of Bill and assume that Bill ends his will and testimony and goes straight for Susan. She is scared of Joe's revealed to her, and Joe begins to know that Susan is selfish and he must live.
The last few hours of Bill's life is still sad, but sad. He is forced to perform in order to make a speech on his own stage and tells his crowd that everyone there has a special memory. Bill is too advanced to send fast moving speech, so the speech is short and very depressing. After the speech, he kisses Allison and Susan and returns to home. He asks his son-in-law, Kwanz, to invite Drew for the last story. Drew is welcomed by the invitation, but when he arrives at the office he sees Bill and Joe and knows that he has entered a bad situation. Bill cursed him and told Drew that he knew that Drew was planning a secret partnership with those who acquired Bill's company. Drew was going to break up the company in the building to ruin the job of life in order to really enrich himself and the board of directors. Bill can give Drew a retirement option and can not show his face again, hire a lawyer, let Drew go to prison. Drew resigned wisely and wondering how Bill and Joe knew about his immoral plan.
The last part of the movie takes viewers through all emotions. First, Joe said he was from IRS to Drew and had a bad feeling that Drew had a bad deal. Through research, Joe says he understood the plan of Drew. Drew's plan is the reason why Drew resigned and decided to avoid prison. He learned that the battle of intellect and battle between myself and Joe was over and Drew was beaten by the agent of IRS seriously. The building of the building is safe and it returns to the board of directors. In the hand he feels comfortable enough to go back to the party and say his final farewell.
Joe said good-bye to Susan and tells her that she always loves her. Susan and Joe became very emotional as Joe went away. Bill kiss Alison, find Susan, ask her for dance. They are having a beautiful time together in the last moment of Bill. Bill tells her not to worry, no matter what happens. Susan seems to understand that his father is likely to die and may start to cry. She departs to see the sight of the fireworks and Bill departs to hold his breath.
Bill Parrish crosses the bridge, climbs up the hill of the meadow, see Joe and follows the process of death while on the move. Bill tells Farewell to Alison and Susan, the two most important people in his life, and can now die in peace. Bill tells Joe that Susan admires how Bill had shown the affection for Joe that he always dreamed of. He saw that Susan really loved and was happy, which made Bill happy. Joe tells Bill that he admires Bill as a person and appreciates his time on Earth. They walk on the hill casually in the darkness they die Bill, but Joe does not. Susan is watching two of the most important men in her life walk up the hill and stand on the hill. She starts walking toward her, watching Joe come back on the hill. Susan does not know what is going on, but when Joe approaches her, she sees the youth of the coffee shop coming home. Joe ended Bill's life, but he also saved his life to the young man's body he took at the beginning of the movie. Joe feels that making Susan happy for the rest of his life will be a fair trade for taking Bill's life to show that he is reasonable and indeed heartfelt. The movie ends with Susan and a cafe at a coffee shop roaming towards Parrish's property dramatically towards explosive fireworks.
The plot of this movie is incredibly deep and interesting. The idea that "death" comes to the earth to experience life in the body of a young man is truly unique. Martin Brest is doing a wonderful job of directing this high budget movie with his all-star cast. This movie will laugh with Joe's innocent disgust. Finally we cry to say that everyone should head for Bill's death and get angry with Drew trying to destroy a billion dollar company in Bill. . This movement is a must-see, and it is evaluated as 5 out of 5 points because of the complexity of the story and emotional plot.
