As a lawyer (now an agent) I've seen a number of injury claims trying to increase damages (usually pain and suffering). Some people with poor collection so that the amount of settlement provided by insurance companies can actually be reduced. Many consumers try to solve their claims, but we can not recognize the importance of a well-drafted letter. There are a few "rules" to remember before sending to insurance coordinators:
Rule 1: The letter must be typed! You obviously have computer technology. But do not miss this. Having a handwritten letter, your claim will be destroyed and you will not work seriously. Take the trouble of entering it and become a professional.
Rule 2: Use appropriate grammar and reconfirm typos. Again, it is a problem that appears as an expert and it seems that you mean business.
Rule 3: Please shorten it to a point. Sometimes, this is very difficult. This accident has a big impact on your life. So, I will come across some things easily. Please stay at the course and that point.
Think of your letter as a letter sent to the admissions officer of a very famous university. The admission officer reads hundreds of applications (letters and personal statements), but even without a letter, just remember the correct attention towards its point and read it by grabbing attention Instead of just "scanning".
Believe me if the adjuster tells me the same thing. If your letter is 25 pages long, the adjuster rolls his eyes and looks for the final result: Yes, how long do you think they can get?
Rule 4: Likewise, please make sure your letter is not a paragraph. Too long letters hurt the reader. Short sentences do not seem to truly believe your damage due to the granularity of long sentences.
Please be careful: I am telling you a letter explaining your position (not the whole request package). There are many pages in the demo package. We will enclose records and other evidence (we will explain later).
Rule 5: Remember, these are just suggestions. There is no perfect way to write a settlement request form. I only offer suggestions that I believe will serve to improve your prize. With a better approach, we can not use all of our proposals, some, or none of them.
