Fear that you can not do what you can not do
"I have my trust in God.
Afraid of what people can do. "
Ps. 56:11
The first word that Freemason's candidate speaks when entering the Lords of Freemasonry declares his faith in God. Without that declaration, the shape and beauty of the lodge will be hidden from him forever. It is also the hidden beauty of Freemasonry. That declaration also professs that the candidate has lost faith in God. This is a symbolically tested trust between rituals used in each of the three masonry degrees.
In the first degree, candidates are released to detention for those who can not see, and in poor visibility, they are guided by a road that has never traveled before. His conductor is convinced of him being a trusted and reliable friend. Candidates are taught the most important lessons about Freemasons - it is safe to trust Brother Mason; it is safe to believe in God.
During the second degree, the candidate is taught the importance of King Solomon's symbolic intermediate room. It can only be started by proving its value and knowledge. Here, Mason learns that knowledge is the gift of God and the benefit received from knowledge is shared with every man, woman, child, whatever they touch. It is because God 's wisdom is at the root of everything we can ever want to know, so no comfort is given to any of God' s creatures.
Still, during the third degree candidates learn how to rely on God - how to fear what can be done without human beings. During the ceremony, the candidate knows that no one will pray for him. He needs to do it on his own. Truthful and trustworthy brothers that were formerly his guide were replaced by the invisible existence of God. Here, Masons is preparing social and professional circles in his travel abroad, or his life outside Freemasonry Lodge.
When we reflect the progress of Freemasonry lessons in trusting in God, we are reminded of the parallel lessons taught during the natural state of human existence. Children are born in a world that can not care about themselves. After an early age, it receives the affectionate care of the parents raised and learns how to trust someone to be safe, safe and much loved by it. Children need to leave their safe environment and journey in the world. That is to know the person the child truly trusts.
Throughout the history of humanity, there is nothing who has become helpless than fear. Those who took charge of authority to others, or who advanced in the direction to do so, learned that it becomes easier to pursue and manipulate men on the premise of fear. The monarch, the legislature, the church, the employer used fear in different times to acquire power, to keep power and to follow their various demands. By doing so, they acted as enemies of freedom. People who act or fail in terror are never really free.
What is the cause of your fear? Is it sick or the measure you must take to protect your health? Can you bear the humiliation and pressure that you lose your job? Does your religion make unreasonable demands on your actions and emotions and fear that it will fall out of the grace of God? Or are you afraid that others do not like you? Such confused thinking leads to anger and resentment, two products of fear, leading to loss of friends and loss of peace of mind.
Albert Pike writes about how important it is for humans to incorporate virtue and honor in their lives. He wrote that good people do better by doing so that the people around them benefited greatly from the result of kindness, charity and goodwill as a result. He wrote how quickly virtue and honor disappears when fear is allowed to creep up on human consciousness. Kind words are often dubbed quickly to unjustly rigorous criticisms. The rescuer is suddenly withdrawn and replaced with the empty sky. People who were in a hurry to blow in harmony that was shrugging their shoulders this time to see who is watching whether someone is being threatened or who can hurt anyone.
Focusing on such results makes it easier to fully understand the importance of fearing what people can do for you. As Masons, we learn to pray that everything depends on God and acts like everything depends on us. Thus, Freemasonry has long admitted that prayers and actions are two very well-known secrets that help to achieve good mental health and physical health. It is essential to know that both must act together. Prayer without actions of prayers is not as useful as faith without action.
Fear is a natural reaction to what we do not know well. If pain is potentially involved, it is most natural to feel at least a lot of fear. Imagine a bit of the layout of Grand Master Jack de Moreay when he was waiting for a specific torture. Without a doubt, he felt fear. However, as we are informed of the ancient history, he declared that he would overcome fear and not confess fraudulent acts caused by him and his knight Templar, was said to have been baked live in the stake I will.
What can men overcome fear? Those who scooped a cliff by soldier's heroic efforts at Iojima, or Normandy invasion, stand out on generations as an example of courage that is not brave. For soldiers the answer is obvious - he fights for his comrade of weapons. But why do we resist fear? Most of us are not in battle, not during the war. The answer is that we are adjusting our beliefs and minds as we know that we die like everyone. Before we were born, our passage from this material life was commanded. It is not important for us to die, it is important how we live.
Freedom is the gift of God. We can accept it or refuse promises. Fear forces us to choose. We choose many slavery and yields. Others believe that freedom is a matter of choice, so even if they are in terrible terror conditions, they choose to act freely. Humans have little time on the earth. But his spirit will continue to live forever. We sacrificed the great gift that God gave us and bought us less carefully about our welfare on the planet.
A man of courage is a man of freedom. A man who is afraid is a bondy man. The Bible is not a submission to slavery, but it is complete with a fable on salvation from slavery. We were created to become a man of God, not men turned away from the will of those who use fears to get rid of the spirit of freedom born to our nature.
When you are sick, you should not be afraid. You will live. You may live here for a while longer on this plane. If you do not, it is not important. Because you are always on and it will always be life force.
Do not be afraid when your fortune fails and you are concerned about the way you live in the next month. No one guarantees you a life without fuss. But you are guaranteed that God will give you the power. Please pray and act like you succeed. You must not be threatened by employers, priests, holy men, bullying people. There is no fear. No one has been given authority by God to cast other selfish desires to others. The only way for it to succeed is that human beings make it successful.
My brother Masonry offers us a plan of how to succeed in life to succeed. The plan focuses on four basic virtues: discrimination, indomitable spirit, cautiousness and justice. None of these virtues will be successfully practiced by a horrible man. In this way, Masonry advises us that it is not unstable. If Hiram Abihf was afraid of death, it should have revealed the secret of Master Mason immediately when first being attacked by the South Gate fighter.
How soon will you surrender?
