On your way, what do you grab for emergencies?

I had an interesting conversation with one of my grandchildren this morning. My wife was reading articles on disasters. In particular, in an article that is a threat to nuclear bombs by North Korea, he stated that he had to prepare at least 14 days of urgent provision at hand. I asked my grandchildren if he had thought about all of that and what he had to offer for himself. The scenario I asked him is a very real situation for people living in the earthquake country. (I have to say that I am not worried about nuclear attacks from North Korea, but what I want to say about it is all hype and hype) but 50 miles from San Francisco, California, big The possibility of an earthquake is very realistic. I asked him if he was in town. A large-scale earthquake made all public facilities useless. He told me he would leave the city at once. It was my reply. The second question I had was where he would go, and of course he said to our house perfectly with us. Then I got out of the city and responded to buses, trains, cars, walks etc and said to him that there are many people with the same idea. Three methods of San Francisco, 1) Bay Bridge. 2) Golden Gate Bridge 3) Highway 101 (via South San Francisco) All jams are stuffed into normal business days, making it impossible in my opinion during emergency evacuation. In my opinion, the first thousands of cars can come out, and the roads are quickly filled with breaks and accidents. He then said that I will walk he will go, I will simply ask "Where? Auckland? Hayward?" In my opinion people who will not go anywhere after "big things" happen No, I do not. There was no solution other than understanding what happens better, but spectacular children sometimes spend the day by taking a train and it was worth the conversation (around 20 years old) Although there was no comprehensive decision on the discussion, a more relevant question was issued, "How can you overcome if a major disaster occurred and you were at home?"

I'm thinking about wild fires, household fires, floods, earthquakes, or any other situation that removes all of our utilities. 4-1 / 2 years ago, my neighbor 's house burned to the ground in the middle of the night. The houses on both sides were damaged by fire, but 80% was destroyed, but now it has not been rebuilt as burned out Hulk. If there was a promising wind (it was not), if it was dry (fortunately, it was raining) my house would almost burn completely. I am anxious to see the neighbor, a very good neighbor, running around the night clothes at the garden hose trying to save the house. It was a very dangerous situation, one in the neighbor was in the nightwear and was 30 feet away from the house involved perfectly. She was next to a big pine tree. I could see the tree exploded in the flame and perhaps cause serious injury to her, but it did not happen, but the tree was destroyed by heat. The fact last week I saw she sprinkled trees in her garden hose. I of course asked her what it was. She answered that she had an allergy, pine tree was full of pollen, allergy to that tree, I was thinking of removing it. The tree was wet on that night, so she is very likely to suffer seriously or get worse. After the arrival of the fire department, we are very unlikely in the countryside, so responses, night clothes etc. usually take at least 20 minutes. As I started thinking about preparations, the question I asked myself was "If it was me, what would I get on the way?" So I began to form the foundation of the emergency disaster plan . And I need to put it together for home emergency preparation kit. This event urged us to build a website that will help people become confident. Then I came up with the following list.

1) Wake up and wear clothes, wear clothes beside beds, shoes, trousers, shirts.

2) Get my 95-year-old mother by law outside the bed assigned to my wife or mine.

3) If you get my emergency backpack that contains all of the information on my laptop and my website, it will be lost the possibility of it becoming its own disaster.

4) Please save my wheelchair. Please get on and off as much as possible. If a fire occurs, both mobile devices will be lost.

5) Grab my ukulele, guitar, banjo

6) Only the computer of the upper tower, the tower

7) Discard all of them in the levee

8) I will put my big mobility scooter out there and put it on the back porch of the door.

9) Oh crazy dog, good grief to become a challenge

10) All car keys!

It's not a complete list! After writing it and making it a reality, I beat my face like a B class western movie. If I take all that sort of thing, it would be a big job if I could collect all of it in a short time. In my estimate, I came to the conclusion after seeing the fire video made by various fire departments. I evacuated for 1 minute. I got up a minute after watching the Christmas tree video of the fire department. In a small building there was a replica living room with a Christmas tree, a sofa, a chair and a small table. The light string was out of order. Smoke began to appear immediately after the light was switched on, the wiring burst into the flame. The entire room was swallowed in less than a minute, within a minute to evacuate my house. I am doing a completely new way of thinking that I have time to gather and escape. If I want to take all the trucks and trailers that I need, it should always be set up and ready to load. 1 minute, I have changed my list now with a considerable amount of money:

1) Get a grandma

2) Tie the dog with a string

3) My emergency preparation kit (including my laptop)

Take care of you! If only I should take a wheelchair, if not, there are millions of people this year and there is insurance. It is the same as my ukulele, banjo and guitar, but this year there were also many things. Grandma, wife, dog and I have nothing more important than me. Even now, all my files are placed on "cloud", that is, on Google+, so leaving a laptop will not be a big problem. You can get files from any computer as long as you have your own password. My only priority is grandma, wife, dog, and I leave the door and if someone is missing me, I call the fire department and get out within just one minute. In conclusion, I hope to encourage some people to prepare family disaster plans and to purchase or purchase a pre-assembled home emergency response kit together. FEMA recommends a 72 hour kit, the 14th kit is a better preparation kit. Because of this one fact my opinion is that my neighbor is not now prepared for this kind of disaster. My personal thing that is ready is to be able to help other people with sufficient margin for themselves. I can never refuse someone to eat water or something warm because someone is not anything other than "human". This event easily happens anytime of day and night. Do not you see the most troublesome grams coming in the worst storm in the night?
